1. Who we are
JG Centre is a mower, ATV and UTV dealership and workshop at 21 Peel Street, Mackay QLD 4740. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean JG Centre.
2. What we collect
Depending on how you deal with us, we may collect:
- your name, phone number, email and address;
- details of machines you own, buy or bring in for service, including make, model and serial or VIN numbers;
- purchase, warranty and service history;
- information needed to arrange finance at your request (passed directly to our finance partner);
- messages you send us through our website, email, phone or social media;
- website usage data such as pages visited, device and browser type, and approximate location.
We do not collect sensitive information unless it is required by law or you consent.
3. How we collect it
We collect information directly from you — in store, over the phone, by email, through our website forms (enquiry, service booking, wanted list and contact forms) and when you apply for finance. Our website also collects some information automatically through cookies and analytics tools (see section 6).
4. How we use it
- to answer enquiries, provide quotes and process sales;
- to book, carry out and follow up servicing and repairs;
- to register warranties and handle warranty claims and product recalls with manufacturers;
- to arrange finance at your request;
- to let you know when second-hand stock matching your wanted-list request arrives;
- to improve our website, products and services;
- to send you offers and news, where you have agreed to receive them;
- to meet our legal and accounting obligations.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with manufacturers and distributors (for example CFMoto, Cub Cadet, Cox, Greenfield, Worldlawn and Rover) for warranty registration, claims and safety recalls; our finance partner when you ask us to help with a finance application; service providers who help run our business, such as IT, website hosting, email, payment, accounting and courier providers; and government agencies or others where required or authorised by law.
Some of these providers may store data outside Australia. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.
6. Cookies & tracking
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies, including Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion tracking, and may use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel. These help us understand how people use the site and measure our advertising, and may collect your IP address, device information and activity on our site.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, opt out of Google Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, and manage ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com.
7. Marketing

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, and destroy or de-identify it when we no longer need it. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

You can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you by contacting us. We will respond within a reasonable time and tell you if there is a reason we cannot give you access.
